The illusion series presents a new take on the iteration of the moments of division and branching in landscapes. The eternal search for the nature of things and sceneries stems from an understanding of how time appears etched on an object.
Each piece of the stick made from Poplar and Oak wood. The quality of the material is changing depending on its location and weather so it is alive in a sort of communication with its space. Very tiny photographs of trees taken from different parts of Iran are attached to the sticks and sanded away, therefore a few blurred images are visible that in most of its parts covered by very thin colorful threads. The back side of the sticks painted in bright fluorescent paints that reflect in the back surface. Each stick is a slice of a vertical landscape appears in distant.
This series of works examines the improbability of foresight in abstract scenery.
